Unconditional Love of Christ
I grew up in a Christian home, but oddly enough I didn’t understand the message of Christ. Somewhere in the 2000 years of interpretations the message of unconditional love was lost in the translation. It is quite understandable since each person is only sharing what they believe about the story of a great messenger of Love. There was no way to see the truth when all I was being offered were misinterpretations. I didn’t know that at the time. I thought some people might actually be telling me something worthwhile. But they were so busy tempting me to believe in their story that they didn’t deliver the unconditional love part. The unconditional love was the part I was looking for.

Oddly enough, I was fortunate to meet don Miguel Ruiz who guided me to experience the message of love. When I did, all the teachings of Christ took on a completely different meaning. Not a meaning that I was told, concepts that I was supposed to believe, or that had rules and consequences of being punished if I didn’t. It was something meaning that I felt and it didn’t have to do with words or beliefs.
The understanding that I got is that life is perfect and beautiful just the way it is, and you can love it unconditionally just the way it is. If Christ could do it, then we can do it. The best part is that you are perfect and you can love your self just the way you are. This of course all leads to happiness.
I honor and celebrate this time of the year as a reminder of one man’s message of how to live life in unconditional love.
Merry Christmas
